Vonnegut/Kraft is a Hudson Valley, NY based design studio founded by Katrina Vonnegut and Brian Kraft. Katrina received her B.F.A in Furniture Design from the Rhode Island School of Design in 2009. Brian is a self-taught furniture designer and maker who graduated from New York University in 2000 with a B.A in Fine Arts and English Literature. We create furniture, lighting, objects and spaces with an astute attention to detail, materiality, and sculptural form.

Utilizing local and regional resources, the studio is dedicated to maintaining a balance between technological manufacturing techniques and hand-made craftsmanship. All pieces are either small editions or made to order and embrace the maker’s hand as well as the intrinsic qualities of the materials used.
